Holiday Cards

This year I decided to make our Christmas cards. I purchased some beautiful stamps from Jennifer, who is a Stampin' Up Representative. I also made a set of 30 cards with "Target" brand designs for Ryan to give out at work.

Felt Story Board Book

I got the idea for this project from the felt story board that is used at the library during our library times. Hanah's friend Ella loves the board and always wants to go up and find the mouse that is hiding behind the houses. I thought that this would be a neat idea for a gift to give to her to help her mother keep her occupied on their long flight to Germany for the holidays. It was fun to make the little shapes with my Cuttlebug. I used my book- making-knowledge and learned much about using felt for this project (it isn't the easiest fabric to work with!). I have ideas for "paper" dolls that she can dress up and alphabets and numbers for later gifts. I am in the process of making one for each of our other three musketeers, Grace and Hanah because Ella likes her book so much.

Great Grandmother

Here's a page I made for my Grandma, who is living in a nursing home in MA. Hanah "helped" me make it by doing some of the stamping.

Pp. 28-34

My original goal was to be caught up to current time in the scrapbooks by the time Hanah turned one. Well, here it is on the eve of her birthday, and I made it to the end of the first scrapbook, but it is only June 2007! Oh well. I guess I will stay busy for a while.

pp. 19-23

Here are the latest pages I've been working on finishing. It's taking me a little while longer now that Hanah has entered her more mobile phase and is so much taller. It's amazing what she can reach and grab off of the table now, and it seems like she's less interested in entertaining herself as much as she used to do. That's okay, though, because this is such a fun age for her to be in now. I just need to get these pages caught up to the present time.

Yay! I have finally gotten around to getting Hanah's book started. I've completed the first fourteen pages. She is finally born. Check it out:
